Most of these miles were earned through venturing out into the unknown by providing clean water.

Why I Travel

I never set out to chase miles, flags, or flight counts.
I started traveling because I was curious — and I stayed traveling because it made me come alive.

Over 12 years and 626,983 miles, I've learned that smarter travel isn’t just about packing lighter or finding cheaper flights.
It’s about being more aware. More present. More connected to the world and the people living in it.

Much of my journey has come through my work with One ATTA Time, a nonprofit I founded to help provide clean water to families in need around the world.
Traveling for purpose — not just adventure — has shaped every step I take. It's taught me that travel isn’t about seeing more places.
It’s about seeing people better.

This site is where I share what the road has taught me — the lessons, the tools, the field notes you won’t find in guidebooks.

Whether you're planning your first trip or your fiftieth, I’m here to help you move through the world with more ease, more wonder, and more purpose.
